A massive 9,007 shoeboxes set off for Oradea yesterday afternoon, completely filling a large wagon.  Many congratulations to all those many shoebox donors and volunteers who have worked tirelessly to make this project a success.  Our distribution team, made up entirely of local people, leaves Cumbria next Thursday to give out as many of the boxes as we can manage in a week.

We will post pictures and stories as soon as possible of children receiving their gifts, but in the meantime just imagine the smiles and the joy which will be on these children’s faces … very soon …. thanks to YOU!
